RIP BIG LOU      8-10-10

 

 

 

Luis was of my 1st boxers to create TEAM RIVERA. He was a great guy and would do anything to help you. He lived his life for his 3 kids and wife. Luis had a great left hand and knocked out every opponent he fought with that one left punch. Everyone knew who ever stepped in the ring with Lefty Lu was bound to kiss the canvas within in the 1st round. But still EVERYONE respected him. Thats just the type of guy he was. He won the 2005 Golden Gloves infact thats the year all the season ticket holders in the audience nick named him LEFTY LOU and ONE PUNCH LUIS and it has always stuck. On August 10,2010 Luis was taken from us he was fatelly shot 5 times buy a local Chelsea man. He will be deeply missed. Alex, Andy & Albert were more than a boxing trainer to him he saw them as brothers. This has been a hard hit on the Rivera Brothers Team. THE STREET VIOLENCE HAS TO STOP!   GLOVES NOT GUNS!
